Tied these guys a little late to fish for stripers this year considering we got about 8" of snow last night. I'll be prepared for next year. Can't have enough. I'd hate to run out when there are big stripers around.
Those are some nice looking flies, Jeff. I don’t know what size they are, but I think they would work for pike as well. By the way, I’m sending you your flies this week.
Jeff Just found your blog and I am really impressed with those stripers. I thought I had landed a nice strip on Smith last year http://btrussell-fishingthroughlife.blogspot.com/search/label/Fly%20Fishing%20for%20Bass but after viewing some of your catches they blow my fish out of the water. I am joining up with your blog in hopes of learning how to land some bigger strips. Thanks for sharing a great blog.
8 inches of snow????...i was fishing yesterday in just a long sleeve shirt.

Can't wait to see those flies Stefaan. Get me your address and I'll send a few your way. They are about 6 inches or so.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill. Hope you get a few tips along the way that help you out.
